A book designed in response to Ellen Lupton's essay "The Producers" that discusses the role of the designer in all aspects of design production, from authoring to understanding a system of making. My response to Lupton's essay mostly supports and adds my own perspective throughout the book design. I took on my own role as a "Producer" by creating illustrations, authoring my own content and hand-binding the book with french folds that reveal patterns when closely examined.
